As an employee, CMO ALTO provides a self-service portal where you can manage your work life without needing HR or admin intervention for routine tasks.
What you can do

First Login Experience
After setting your password from the invitation email, you'll land on your Employee Dashboard.
Employee Dashboard
Your dashboard shows:
- Quick Actions — apply for leave, submit expense, check in
- My Tasks — assigned tasks and deadlines
- Leave Balance — remaining leave by type
- Recent Payslip — latest salary summary
- Announcements — company-wide or department news

Common Workflows
Applying for Leave
- Go to Employee → Leaves.
- Click “New Request”.
- Select leave type (annual, sick, personal, etc.).
- Choose start and end dates.
- Add a note for your manager (optional but recommended).
- Submit — track status from the same page.
Viewing and Downloading Payslips
- Go to Employee → Payslips.
- Select the month/period.
- View salary breakdown: base, allowances, deductions, net pay.
- Click “Download PDF” to save a copy.
Submitting an Expense Report
- Go to Employee → Expenses.
- Click “New Expense”.
- Select category, enter amount, date, and description.
- Upload a photo of the receipt.
- Submit for manager approval.

- Keep your profile updated — especially emergency contacts and bank details for payroll.
- Submit expenses promptly — most organisations have a 30-day submission policy.
- Check the team calendar before requesting leave to avoid conflicts.
- Use the mobile app for quick check-ins, leave requests, and expense photo uploads.

FAQ
How do I change my bank details?
Go to Employee → Profile → Bank Details tab. Update your information and submit for verification. Changes take effect after HR approval.
What happens if my leave is rejected?
You'll receive a notification with the rejection reason. You can modify the dates and resubmit or discuss with your manager.
Can I see my full salary history?
Yes. The Payslips page shows your entire salary history. Use the date filter to view specific periods.
How do I check in for attendance?
If your organisation uses check-in, navigate to the attendance page or use the Quick Actions on your dashboard.
