First Login Experience
After receiving your invitation email:
- Click the invitation link — you'll be taken to a secure page to set your password.
- Create your password — must be at least 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, digit, and special character.
- Complete your profile — add your photo, phone number, and preferred language.
- Explore the dashboard — your role determines which modules and pages you see.
Bookmark the login URL for quick access. You can also install CMO ALTO as a PWA on mobile devices.
Common Workflows
Submitting a Leave Request (Employee)
- Navigate to Employee → Leaves.
- Click “New Request”.
- Select leave type, dates, and add a note.
- Submit — your manager receives a notification.
Approving a Request (Manager)
- You receive a notification badge on the bell icon.
- Click to view pending approvals.
- Review the request details and approve or reject with a comment.
Tips & Best Practices
- Use Global Search — press / or click the search bar to find anything: employees, invoices, projects, documents.
- Set up notifications — configure email and in-app notification preferences from Profile → Settings.
- Mobile-friendly — CMO ALTO is fully responsive. Access from any device.
- Keyboard shortcuts — available throughout the platform for power users.
- Dark mode — toggle from the global controls panel (bottom-right corner).

How do I reset my password?
Click 'Forgot Password' on the login page, enter your email, and follow the reset link. Alternatively, ask your admin to send a new invitation.
